W/P or P/W
Im curious as too whether there is any advantage into making a W/P rather than a P/W besides AL. I currently run the SY/Dslash God Mode build on my W/P, but im beginning to realize how with focused anger + fgj, a p/w can make the infinite kd lock work a lot better + spam adrenal skills continuously, PLUS they have imbagon, so is there anything w/p has to trump that (except for AL)?

So did you realize that FGJ (PvE) doesn't stack with focused aggression?

I don't see why anyone would go W/P when they can go P/W and spam [["There's Nothing to Fear!"] along with [["Save Yourselves!"].

W/P is pretty amazing with Strength, and is pretty much better then any other one handed weapon, and it's AT RANGE.
Though you shouldn't roll a warrior just for W/P, keep in mind the difference in rolls in dealing with them
Warriors are for DPS, and less so party support.
Paragons are for Party Support, with less DPS then warriors (but still good)

W/P and P/W are both more than viable, especially in pve, but they do slightly different things on the battlefield. You don't want your paragon charging into the opponent's backline and KD-ing casters. Wars do that better than anyone else.
I've found that when you know what you're doing, players of all professions are very glad to be in a party with you whether you're W/P or P/W.

That isn't going to help you KD-lock, especially when you lack stonefists. Dslash is the best for recharging [Brawling Headbutt]

If you go P/W you are going to be expected to play like a paragon if you do any groups or PvP. You are also going to lose out on some str skills like enraging charge and won't be able to put 14 points into your weapon attribute.

If I am playing P/W in PvE, why would I even consider using enraging charge? There are so many more useful things to put on my skill bar.
Imbagon practically dominates PvE and the TntF and SY it pumps out is very difficult for warriors to match unless they are using D Slash.

Thx for the reply guys.
Yeah, I'm sorry if I was confusing but with P/W i didn't mean attempting to make it infinite KD. I was more leaning towards an imbagon.
basically what i was trying to ask was for a comparison of dominance in PvE between imbagon and DS/SY, but seeing as how i've already wasted all my money on my war, i'm gonna stick with it and hope for the best

Good choice. Warriors have a plethora of fun ways to pwn and keep up [save yourselves] at the same time.
[there's nothing to fear] or Bigger Domages (easy choice in my book).

1. He didn't specifically say he wanted to be PvE only. If you plan to play PvP at some point you have to take that into consideration.
2. He was asking if he should go P/W or W/P. So you have to take into consideration the skills you will be trading off.
3. If you are playing W/P enraging charge is sometimes taken as a utility skill to get some quick ade.

You can't compare an imbagon and a DS warrior. A imbagon's main priority is to keep SY up with the occasional TNTF! to relieve even more pressure and the heal, killing things is secondary. A DS warrior's job is to make things very not alive, pumping out SY isn't as easy

If you can't maintain "SY!" on a DSlash Warrior while kicking the crap out of anything that gets in your face, you're doing it wrong.

He never said he couldn't maintain SY on a dslash warrior, he said it wasn't as easy to maintain, which is true.

1. the OP is useing DS, Dragon Slash, so no, it's not at range...
2. Paragons have higher DPS than a warrior, or I sould say, spears have higher DPS than axes and swords... It was proven in the Paragon threads somewhere...
To the OP, I vote P/W... very imba...

Maybe in pvp , but in pve enemies have insane armor , and damage from attack skills is armor ignoring and warriors are better at spamming attack skills. Warriors have bigger dps in pve.
